Chris Coyier presentation summary

Chris Coyier’s presentation has been the best of the day so far. Highly informative and entertaining he examined the unknown factors of website presentation (resolution, browser, user mood etc.) The main message being that websites should be functional across all platforms though they may not look alike. Lots of great resources and ideas were shared. Here’s a few topics of interest that came up:
html5please.com
media.io
css3please.com
Sass with Compass
normalize.css
browserstack.com - browser testing for the 21st century
Smartling - Translation service on the DNS level
Other presentations were a little dry by comparison, hopefully there will be more like this in the coming days.
